Our Story
Chess64.in was born out of a simple belief: everyone can unlock
their potential through the game of chess. Founded by Mohit
Kumar Soni, a dedicated coach and passionate player, our academy
began as a small local class and quickly grew into a thriving
community of students from across India and around the world.
We’ve helped hundreds of players — from beginners to seasoned
competitors — master openings, tactics and end‑games, improve
their strategic thinking, and gain confidence on and off the
board. Our mission is to make high‑quality chess education
accessible to all, through personalised programs and expert
guidance.
Meet Our Founder
Mohit Kumar Soni
Mohit is a FIDE‑rated player and certified chess trainer
with over a decade of coaching experience. He has trained
students across all age groups and skill levels, helping
them climb national and international rankings. With a deep
understanding of classical principles and modern theory,
Mohit believes in personalised instruction that respects
each student’s unique strengths and learning style.
As the founder of Chess64.in, he leads our coaching team
with passion and commitment, ensuring that every lesson
delivers value and inspiration. When he’s not on the
teaching board, Mohit competes in tournaments and stays
up‑to‑date with the latest trends in chess pedagogy.
